Ten years of getting into places I wasn't supposed to be. 112 pages. Twelve stories. One print run.
Books are expected to ship out on October 22, 2026.
The print run is fixed. If it's ever reprinted, I'll email you first.
A Decade in Decay is a hardcover collecting ten years, 2014 to 2024, of photographing abandoned places across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Detroit, the exclusion zone around Chernobyl, two weeks of traveling through France, the tunnels under New York, and much more.
Twelve chapters, each one a first-person account of how the photos were taken: the fences, the near-misses, getting shot at in Detroit, a Geiger counter maxing out in Pripyat. I wrote it the way it happened. It isn't polished and I didn't want it to be.
One print run. Once the pre-order closes, that's the edition.
No previews. The photographs stay in the book.

I don't recommend any of this. Not the fences, not the rooftops, not the buildings with floors that aren't there anymore. These are stories about what I did, not suggestions for what you should do.
